Hi, I’m Kate.
I'm a Career Coach, national speaker, and the author of Authentic Success, and I help ambitious women build fulfilling and lucrative careers.
I founded Shattered Glass Coaching after 15+ years in business leadership, after seeing way too many women stay stuck in jobs they’d outgrown because they didn't have a strategy or the confidence to make a move. So I built a coaching practice to fix this. I use the Glass Ceiling Breakthrough Method, a framework that pairs tactical career strategy with real confidence building. My clients land jobs in 3-4 months, not the 6-7 month average, with compensation that reflects they’re worth.
I wrote the book Authentic Success: A Guide for Ambitious Women to Build Aligned Careers and Lives, which hit #1 on Amazon in three categories. It's my coaching program in book form.
I've been recognized as one of San Diego's top coaches four years in a row, and I've spoken on stages in 16 states and 6 countries. When I'm not coaching, you'll find me chasing travel adventures, eating tacos, or reading a book on the beach.

We start with a deep dive into your career history, goals, and what's been holding you back. I use the DISC Career Management Assessment to give you data on your natural strengths, communication style, and best fit career paths, so we're building your strategy on facts and data.
Build Your Strategy and Materials
This is where we get tactical. We build a resume that showcases your accomplishments, optimize your LinkedIn profile to attract the right opportunities, sharpen your personal brand, and create a targeted job search plan. Everything is built around you and the career you’re building.
Execute with Confidence
Confidence is the secret sauce. We work on interview preparation, salary negotiation, and building the unshakeable self-belief that makes you walk into every room knowing you belong there. This is where my clients go from qualified on paper to magnetic in person.
